Vistra to again expand California's Moss Landing battery storage facility
Texas-based Vistra intends to expand its flagship Moss Landing battery storage facility in California to reach 750 megawatts/3,000 megawatt-hours, Kallanish reports.
Construction is expected to begin in May 2022 with the new lithium-ion battery storage to begin commercial operations prior to June 2023. The project will proceed under an already-approved development permit.
