VW Group leads European BEV market after 26% rise in sales
Volkswagen Group saw its all-electric vehicle sales rise 26.3% in 2022, consolidating its position as the BEV market leader in Europe, Kallanish reports.
The German carmaker delivered 572,100 BEVs, compared to 452,800 in 2021. The volume corresponds to a share of 6.9% of its total global sales, up from the 5.1% share a year earlier. The goal for 2023 is to reach a share of 11%, before hitting 20% in 2025.
