Acciaierie d'Italia production issues worsen
Acciaierie d’Italia, the joint venture between ArcelorMittal and state-owned Invitalia, suspended its gas network this week to allow it to idle meltshop no.2 and blast furnace no.2 at Taranto for maintenance works. All equipment is due to restart on Friday, the company says in a note sent to Kallanish. Its power plant remains operational, it adds.
