Africa's crude steel output shrinks in April
Africa's crude steel output decreased by 6.1% on-month in April but rose 4.8% on-year to 1.26 million tonnes.
Egypt produced 736,000t of crude steel in April, down 11.1% on March and 0.7% on-year, while four-month output was 3.08mt, down 2.6% on-year, according to the latest worldsteel data examined by Kallanish.
