Aichi Steel advances hydrogen smelting at Kariya plant

Japanese steelmaker Aichi Steel has tested hydrogen combustion technology in a heat treatment furnace for steel production at its Kariya plant to advance the company's development of carbon emission reduction technology.  The product is a dual-fuel burner that can burn city gas and hydrogen without replacing any parts.
