Angang, Bengang keep September offers flat
Northeast China’s state-owned Anshan Iron & Steel (Angang) and Benxi Iron & Steel (Bengang) have kept offers flat for most products for September.
Quotes for hot rolled, cold rolled, and galvanized coil, as well as silicon flat steel have seen no change. Demand hikes are expected to be limited in September, but steel mills are not willing to lower offers further as prices have touched lows in August, Kallanish notes.
