ArcelorMittal Temirtau ramps up output after upgrades
ArcelorMittal's Kazakhstan-based Temirtau steelworks says it has reached maximum production at sheet rolling shop No.1, at a run rate of 42,000 tonnes/month of sheet, Kallanish notes. This is the first time this rate has been reached for ten years.
In March, sheet cutting lines also increased utilisation. The steelmaker plans to continue working on improving product quality, it says.
