Argentina's September primary iron production remains stable
Argentinian primary iron output increased on-month but remained down year-on-year in September, Kallanish learns from Argentinian steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero's (CAA) latest data.
Primary iron production was 293,600 tonnes during the month, up 4.2% over August but 12% weaker compared to the 333,500t produced in September 2021. This volume was the highest in the last four months since the 328,700t produced by the country in May.
