Australian mining industry urges changes in Northern Territory
The Mineral Council of Australia (MCA) urged on Friday the Northern Territory government to implement recommendations set by a mining taskforce to unlock world-class minerals resources in the state.
The local government is currently considering the final report submitted by the Mineral Development Taskforce, of which MCA is part of, to the mining ministry. As part of a public consultation, the government is seeking feedback until 14 July, Kallanish notes.
