Austrian rebar prices soften, Italy offers some competition
Prices for rebar in Austria are giving in somewhat. The trend is more pronounced than in Germany, but far less drastic than in Italy.
Austria is in a relatively comfortable position these days, in the transit zone between its northern and southern neighbours. While Italian prices have kept sinking for weeks, those in Germany remain defiant, with only little signs of weakness.
