AVTOVAZ eyes increasing car production in July
Russian carmaker AVTOVAZ plans to increase production this month, the governor of the Samara Region, Dmitry Azarov, said after a working meeting with the president of AVTOVAZ, Maxim Sokolov.
The company will ramp up production by 30% compared to June to 10,000 units, with the launch of the Niva Legend model, Kallanish notes. From August it also plans to restart output of the Niva Travel.
