Bearish sentiment weighs on Turkish rebar market
Long steel prices in Turkey are continuing to fall amid bearish sentiment in the market, with demand non-existent.
On Thursday, Turkish mills’ official offers for rebar and mesh-quality wire rod were pegged mostly at $820-830/tonne and $900-930/t fob Turkey respectively actual weight. These are down from $880-890/t and $970-990/t fob respectively last week.
