BHP looks to delay Samarco dam disaster trial
BHP Group is trying to delay the class action lawsuit filed in England over the Samarco dam disaster, Kallanish notes.
After four years of proceedings and court hearings, judge Finola O'Farrell ruled on 21 December that the case must go to trial, whose start of hearings is set for 9 April 2024, as announced by the UK High Court of Justice decision.
