Brazil cuts rebar import tax
Brazilian authorities have cut the tax on rebar imports to 4% from the previous level of 10.8%, Kallanish learns from official statements.
The change in duties is set to be effective immediately for rebar grades CA50 and CA60. Rebar import taxes were already reduced from 12% to 10.8% last year.
