Brazilian iron ore exports weaken in April
Brazil saw iron ore exports fall in April. Year-to-date shipments also remain weaker when compared to the first four months in 2021, Kallanish notes.
According to the latest Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data, shipments abroad of iron ore reached 24.9 million tonnes in April, down 12.9% over March’s 28.6mt and 3% less year-on-year.
