Brazil's February flats sales drop, outlook positive
Flat steel sales and purchases by Brazil’s distributors and service centres fell sequentially in February, Kallanish notes. These, however, should grow in March, with an estimated increase of 16% month-on-month, says national steel distributors’ association Inda.
In February, distributors’ sales totalled 294,500 tonnes, down 5.4% over January and 2.1% lower compared to 300,700t a year earlier.
