Brazil’s SAM secures renewable energy for ore project
Brazilian miner Sul Americana de Metais (SAM) has created a joint venture with CGN Brasil Energia for the development, construction and operation of a new solar park in Minas Gerais state. The venture was confirmed by the regional Secretariat for Economic Development (SEDE), Kallanish notes.
The project will be managed with equal 50% participation of the two companies in the business.
