Brazil’s scrap exports fall in December
Brazil saw ferrous scrap exports slightly fall month-on-month in December 2021. Shipments, however, rose year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
According to the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic), scrap exports reached 54,200 tonnes in the month, down by just 0.9% compared to November but 38,100t or 236.4% higher y-o-y.
