Iron ore concentrate production fell in Canada during the month of April, but monthly shipment levels jumped higher, Kallanish learns from data gathered by Statistics Canada.
According to Statistics Canada's monthly survey of manufacturing, monthly iron ore concentrate production fell by 281,169 tonnes during April to a total of 5.1 million tonnes. In contrast, production of iron agglomerates rose by 31,625 t during the month to a total of 1.7mt.
