China's rebar drops on weak sentiment

Chinese rebar prices fell last week on missing demand, and the steel market tried to fight back in a fog. In Shanghai on Friday afternoon, 20mm HRB400 rebar was trading at CNY 4,020-4,050/tonne ($584-589/t), down CNY 125/t on-week.
