China's scrap increases on reducing supply

The Chinese scrap market saw prices rise due to lower supply last week, but scrap usage fell slightly on lower steel mill demand. On Friday, Kallanish assessed 6mm+ heavy scrap delivered to mills in eastern China's Yangtze River Delta at CNY 3,139/tonne ($446/t), including VAT.
