China's scrap prices see losses
Falling steel prices dragged down scrap prices in China last week, raising risk aversion in the market.
On Friday, Kallanish assessed 6mm+ heavy scrap delivered to mills in eastern China's Yangtze River Delta at CNY 3,041/tonne ($442/t), including VAT. This is down CNY 45/t from Thursday and CNY 95/t lower from the previous Friday.
