Chinese scrap rebounds despite weak steel market

China's scrap market rebounded slightly last week, although the steel market was weak during the same period. On Friday, Kallanish assessed 6mm+ heavy scrap delivered to mills in eastern China's Yangtze River Delta at CNY 2,729/tonne ($376/t), including VAT.
