China's scrap turns down on oversupply
China's scrap market has turned down amid oversupply, and the impact of the pandemic on transportation has faded.
On Friday, Kallanish assessed 6mm+ heavy scrap delivered to mills in eastern China's Yangtze River Delta at CNY 3,894/tonne ($591/t), including VAT. This is CNY 2/t higher from Thursday but down CNY 47/t compared with the previous Friday.
