China's wire rod export prices rebound
China's wire rod export prices have risen this week as the domestic steel market recovered and offers hiked.
On Thursday, Kallanish assessed 6.5mm diameter mesh-grade wire rod at $600/tonne fob China, up $5/t on-week.
There are 400 tonnes of 5.5mm diameter SAE 1008 wire rod available for export sale at $610-620/t fob China. This price seems to be acceptable for price reduction, Kallanish learns from a Tangshan-based trader.
