Chinese interest in Australia coking coal widens
More companies are registering interest in Australian coking coal from China. Coronado Global Resources has said that it has received interest from a range of companies, Kallanish notes.
Coronado chief financial officer Gerhard Ziems says that “a number of parties” have expressed an interest in buying coal, and notes that these include more companies than just those currently thought to be approved to buy Australian coal.
