Chinese steel futures take a breather

The recent mini-revival in Chinese steel futures prices slowed on Wednesday, Kallanish notes. Rebar futures still rose but much less vibrantly than earlier in the week. HRC futures recorded a dip, albeit a minor one. On the Shanghai Futures Exchange the October rebar contract closed at CNY 3,573/tonne ($565/t), CNY 9/t higher than Tuesday.
