Chinese mills hike construction steel prices
Major Chinese construction steel companies have hiked their early-December ex-works prices by CNY 80-550/tonne ($12-83/t). With the strict enforcement of steel production restrictions kicking in since mid-November, Chinese domestic steel prices have climbed to a five-year high, Kallanish notes.
