Chinese wire rod exports hold on shrinking demand

China's long steel product export markets remained calm this week, as the domestic steel price shocks made buyers hesitate. Kallanish assessed 6.5mm diameter mesh-grade wire rod at $655/tonne fob China, unchanged from a week ago. Export offers for alloy-added wire rod from northern Chinese mills continued at $655/t fob China, basically unchanged from last week.
