Chiyoda Steel orders Danieli Q-Heat induction heater
Japanese long steel producer Chiyoda Steel has recently signed a contract with Danieli for the installation of a Q-Heat induction heater at its Ayase Plant in Tokyo.
A new 4MW Q-Heat induction heater will be added by April 2024 to replace the existing reheating furnace. The line could reheat cold billets up to rolling temperature in less than eight minutes, with the help of the 6MW Q-Heat system installed in front of the rolling mill for hot charging.
