Coking coal prices rebound on Indian optimism

Seaborne coking coal prices recovered over last week, wiping out some of their recent declines. Optimism over future Indian demand is supporting prices, but weak steel markets remain a threat to the rebound. Kallanish assessed premium hard coking coal at $204.82/tonne fob Australia, up $13.06/t week-on-week. Four BHP cargos drove the market last week.
