Commerce initiates sunset review on Taiwanese tube
The US Department of Commerce is initiating a five-year sunset review of duties on light-walled rectangular welded carbon steel pipe and tube from Taiwan, Kallanish learns from the Federal Register.
Public comments concerning the matter must be submitted by 1 August.
This is the fourth five-year review for this product. Each time since 1989, the duties have been upheld.
In the original 1989 case, the duties assigned ranged from 5.51-40.97%.
