Miners unite for Ashburton iron ore export facility
Australian miners Strike Resources and CZR Resources, and dry bulk coastal vessel firm CSL Australia have entered into a binding memorandum of understanding to form a Port of Ashburton Consortium (PAC). This will develop a 5 million tonnes/year capacity iron ore export facility at the existing Port of Ashburton, located near Onslow in the Pilbara, Western Australia, Kallanish notes.
