Construction association supports waivers for Buy America requirements
Contractors representing the US construction industry with the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of America are supporting a waiver proposal regarding Buy America requirements for small construction projects by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Construction projects receiving funding from the agency under a $250,000 threshold would be eligible to receive waivers for the sourcing of materials, including steel, under the EPA's proposal.
