CSN buys energy company from Eletrobras

Brazil’s Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSN) says it has become owner of Companhia Estadual de Geração de Energia Elétrica (CEEE-G), Kallanish notes.
After acquiring 66.26% of shares in CEEE-G from Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras (Eletrobras) following a public auction in July, CSN purchased on 22 December another 37.24% and now possesses 99% of the energy company’s share capital.
