ES Gás supplies natural gas to ArcelorMittal Brazil
ArcelorMittal Brazil has signed a long-term contract with local gas company Gás do Espírito Santo (ES Gás) for the supply of natural gas to its Tubarão plant, Kallanish learns from the energy company.
According to the agreement, ES Gás has begun providing 250,000 cubic meters per day of natural gas, as of 12 September. No other terms of the deal were disclosed.
The fuel will feed Tubarão’s blast furnace No.3 for now…
