Evraz delivers railway wheels with extended mileage
Evraz’s NTMK has shipped the first batch of railway wheels with a range of over 800,000km, which is almost twice as far as the standard indicators of products on the Russian market, the firm says.
In the first quarter, the products passed certification tests at the All-Russian Research Institute of Railway Transport (VNIIZhT), and in April were issued a certificate of conformity. NTMK also received a patent for new developments.
