Evraz’s Sheregeshskaya ore mine hits output milestone
Russia’s Sheregeshskaya mine, part of steelmaker Evraz, has reached a significant mark in iron ore production in January-December, the company says.
The enterprise mined 5 million tonnes of ore this year, an annual record since the mine’s opening, Kallanish notes.
Sheregeshskaya’s production plan for primary iron ore concentrate was completed ahead of schedule: in less than a year, the mining enterprise produced 2.55mt.
