Evraz’s Uskovskaya coal mine hits output milestone
Russia’s Uskovskaya mine, part of steelmaker Evraz, reached a significant mark in coking coal production in June-October, the company says.
The enterprise mined 2 million tonnes of GZh grade coal from two mining sites, Kallanish notes.
The firm is currently mining longwall 48-06, which was put into operation in April. Industrial coal reserves here amount to 2.35mt.
The development of the mining area 48-06 is scheduled to be completed in February 2023.…
