Fall in US sheet prices takes a breather
Prices for steel sheet in the US market have been in a freefall since peaking in September, but the precipitous decline looks to have taken a break, with the price of hot rolled coil flat this week.
Kallanish is maintaining its hot rolled coil price at $1,020-1,000/short ton, with cold rolled at $,1530-1,630/st. All prices are ex-works, domestic mill.
