Falling iron ore, coal drag steel lower

Seaborne iron ore prices and iron ore and coking coal futures fell further on Tuesday. Scrap prices were steady but the weak raw materials complex has begun dragging down steel prices.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index fell $3.31/t to $127.69/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao. The Kallanish KORE 65% Fe index dropped $1.90/t to $150/dmt cfr, and the KORE 58% Fe index dipped $2.04/t to $106.96/dmt cfr.
