Ferrous futures fluctuate higher amid production cut talks
Steel prices remained on Tuesday in their yo-yoing pattern seen across the country in the last two weeks. Chinese rebar and hot rolled coil futures rebounded slightly after a two-day decline, Kallanish notes.
On the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the most-traded October 2022 rebar contract closed CNY 70/tonne higher than Monday at CNY 4,238/t ($623/t), and the same contract for HRC closed up CNY 76/t at CNY 4,262/t.
