Ferrous futures extend losses
Chinese rebar and hot rolled coil futures extended their declines on Tuesday, with the main trading contract switching from May to October 2023.
On the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the most-traded October 2023 rebar contract closed CNY 44/tonne ($6.39/t) lower than Monday at CNY 3,975/t ($577/t), while the same contract for HRC lost CNY 51/t to CNY 4,052/t.
