French small scrap contract values decline
French scrap prices are declining by some €10-15/tonne ($10.4-15.6) in small-volume contracts implemented around mid-November for domestic and imported material.
This compares to the beginning of the month when French and Luxembourg mills implemented their main scrap purchases with large suppliers. According to sources, in mid-November, contracts in Germany also fell by some €20/t, Kallanish notes.
