French stainless scrap prices climb

Stainless steel scrap prices in France are increasing again on-month by some €100/tonne ($114), in line with other European countries, driven by rising international raw materials spot market values. French mills are now paying €2,120-2,130/t delivered for grade 304. This includes around €20-40/t for transport, depending on point of delivery and departure.
