French stainless scrap prices decline
Stainless steel scrap prices in France are falling this month by almost €200/tonne ($209) on average compared to May. This follows a significant decline in April, Kallanish notes.
According to stainless scrap sellers, demand for grade 304 is not lively this month. The main French mill is ordering less material due to the downturn in finished flat products demand, which is no better than last month.
