Gerdau names new Special Steels unit chief executive
Brazil’s Gerdau has appointed Aldo Tapia Castillo as new chief executive of its Special Steels unit, Kallanish learns from the company.
The newly-elected executive will take up the position by the end of the second quarter. Gerdau promoted Castillo after receiving the highest recognition for his work as ceo of the steelmaker’s Empresa Siderúrgica del Perú (Siderperu) subsidiary over the last three years.
