HarbisonWalker plans Alabama refractory hub
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based HarbisonWalker International is planning a $25 million investment to open a refractories manufacturing hub in Fairfield, Alabama, to serve the iron and steel industry.
Construction on the 200,000-square-foot facility, dubbed Alabama One (AL1), is slated to begin in the current quarter and opening of the facility is anticipated by the end of the year.
