Turkish hot rolled flats imports, exports grow y/y in April
Turkey’s hot rolled flat product imports surged 37% year-on-year to 492,631 tonnes in April, driven by hot rolled wide strip deliveries, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data. The average price of these imports decreased to $568/tonne from $730/t in April 2014.
