Hunan Hongwang operates new silicon steel mill
China’s Hunan Hongwang has announced the commissioning of its new silicon steel mill, which is located in Loudi, Hunan Province.
The new mill adds 960,000 tonnes/year of capacity for high-magnetic induction silicon steel with high silicon content, Kallanish notes. This is also the core product of its parent company, Hongwang Group, China’s stainless steel and silicon steel giant.
